Root Planing and Scaling

Our hygienists are able to serve our patients with moderate to advanced gum disease through the process of root planing and scaling. By removing deposits of calculus and tartar underneath the gum line they are able to remove damage near the tooth root. This prevents further damage and restores stabilization to the tooth. After the procedure a hygienist will observe your gum tissue for optimum healing and recovery.
