Sterilization Protocol
As you know, our office has continued to make advancements in technology and diagnostics to ensure that you are receiving the highest quality care. What you might not know is there are also many behind the scenes concerns that we address for your health and for which Dr. Oppenlander has, for many years, implemented a rigid sterilization protocol which is over and above standard regulations. Below are just a few examples:
- All sterilization procedures are monitored through a combination of mechanical, chemical, and biological techniques designed to evaluate the sterilizing conditions and the procedure's effectiveness.
- Our office uses many state-of-the-art techniques, one of which is complete water line sterilization. Here, water used in all procedures has been filtered for harmful bacteria, which is not mandated by regulations but is an imperative protocol initiated by Dr. Oppenlander.
- Routine 3rd Party monitoring services by the University of Michigan are routinely used to ensure accuracy and consistency of sterilization procedures.
