Kristen joined Michigan Advanced Dentistry June of 2024. She brings 17 years of medical administrative and 6 years in dentistry experience. Kristen oversees many front office procedures necessary to provide outstanding services to patients.  She also helps with insurance billing, assisting, management responsibilities as well as ordering supplies. Outside of the office, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband Lee and two her kids.  She enjoys watching them play sports along with going to church, traveling and boating. 

Lauren received her Business degree from the University of Michigan. She has worked for practice for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys running marathons, with a goal of running a marathon in all 50 states. She also enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and hanging out with her family.

Patti has been a hygienist for 37 years and has been at Michigan Advanced Dentistry's office for 36 years.  She enjoys the relationships she has built with all of her patients over the years.  Patti and her husband have raised two amazing sons and have a feisty dog named Stetson.  She loves to spend quality time with her family, especially while camping, hiking, kayaking or just relaxing on a beach somewhere. Her happy place is the UP.

Shannon joined Michigan Advanced Dentistry in March of 2021. She has been in dentistry for 30 years (10 years as a Dental Assistant and 20 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist). She married the love of her life in 2003. She has 3 grown stepsons, 2 granddaughters, a very special nephew, and 2 golden retrievers. in her spare time, she enjoys running, lifting weights, and Ironman races. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with family.

Sophie joined Michigan Advanced Dentistry in June of 2024. Sophie is a registered dental hygienist and a proud graduate of KVCC.  When she isn't dedicated to helping patients achieve their best miles, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones-her fiancé, her dog Dorothy, and cat Alfonso.  In her leisure time, Sophie enjoys reading and long walks in the great outdoors

Julie joined Michigan Advanced Dentistry in May of 2025. Julie has 18 years for dental hygiene experience. Julie was born and raised in portage where she still resides with her husband and 2 daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys going to Chicago and spending time on the boat with her family and dog Murphy. 

Brooke joined Michigan Advanced dentistry in 2014.  She has an amazing husband and two beautiful children. She is expecting in March of 2026.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Kat started working for the Oppenlander family in 2001. I have an amazing fiancé and 3 awesome children and 3 bonus. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite place is spending time on a beautiful sunny beach. 

Maddison joined Michigan Advanced Dentistry in January 2025 but has been dedicated to patient care in dental for 5 years. She specializes in insurance billing, treatment planning, and schedule coordinating. From the moment you walk into our practice, you’ll be greeted by her friendly face and positive attitude!

She has two young daughters, Eloise and Lucille, and loves spending her free time soaking up every moment with them. She also enjoys long walks outside, cooking for her family and friends, and reading.

Amie joined Michigan Advanced Dentistry in January 2026.  She has a husband, 3 children and 1 grandchild.

In addition to working at the office, she runs a bakery business out of her house.  In her free time, she loves spending time with her family whether its camping, traveling or spending time at the beach. When she has some down time to herself, she loves to read.

Jennifer joined Michigan Advanced Dentistry in 2023. She oversees marketing and enjoys collaborating with the team on campaigns, promotions, and projects that help enhance the patient experience.

Outside the office, she loves spending time with her family and friends, being out on the water, and hanging out with her three dogs.
